Welcome to Escape Velocity

Escape Velocity is Mark Nevelow & Dorothy Jones. We’ve retired, but we have one more grand adventure left in us. We want to see as much of the world as we can before a) we’re too old to travel, and b) it all gets set afire.

But we don’t want to be tourists, flitting from place to place to check it off the bucket list and move on to the next exotic locale. We want to stay in each location long enough to settle in and feel like we’ve understood something of the lived experience.
